England opened their qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup on Thursday with an empathic win over San Marino.
The Three Lions will go on to face Albania and Poland before the international break comes to an end and Manchester United’s stars return to prepare for Premier League action.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has remained coy on his future amid interest from United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sign a partner for captain Harry Maguire this summer and United have been interested in the Frenchman for a number of years.
Madrid could look to sell Varane this summer rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next year, when his contract at the Bernabeu expires.
However, Varane was in no mood to discuss his future in a press conference with France. He said: “I am not going to state the obvious, I have already expressed myself a lot on the subject. I think it has already been said and the situation has not changed.
“I am two days away from an international match with the national team, I am concentrating on that. I don’t want to answer that question on my future.”

United’s priorities in the transfer market are signing a centre-back and a striker but based on that showing a midfielder should also be high on the agenda.
One rising Premier League star who could be within their grasp is Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.
