Bruno Fernandes message to Paul Pogba, United’s first two Premier League fixtures

Bruno Fernandes sent Paul Pogba a happy birthday message via social media – and couldn’t help but reveal how much he misses his fellow midfielder out on the pitch.

The Frenchman turned 28 on Monday (15 March) but has been absent for our last 10 matches, due to an injury picked up in the 3-3 draw with Everton, back in early February.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that Paul could be available for Thursday’s Europa League second leg with AC Milan and, for Fernandes, it seems Pogba’s return cannot come soon enough.
“Happy birthday to this big guy!!” wrote the Reds’ inspirational Portuguese playmaker.
“A class lad on and off the pitch. I miss having you on the pitch Pogboom.”

CONFIRMED: UNITED’S FIRST TWO FIXTURES IN APRIL

Manchester United’s first two Premier League fixtures in April have both been given new dates, following the latest selections for live TV coverage.

The first game to be affected is our home meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion. Originally scheduled for Saturday 3 April, it will now be played the next day in the Sunday evening slot on BT Sport, with kick-off at Old Trafford set for 19:30 BST – clocks in the UK will have moved forward one hour by then.
That meeting will give the Reds another opportunity to defeat the same team three times in one campaign. After Sunday’s win over West Ham completed a treble of home and away league triumphs plus an Emirates FA Cup victory, the same will be possible against Graham Potter’s Seagulls after United’s two away successes last September, the second of which came in the Carabao Cup.
The second April game to be moved for television is our Premier League trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This away clash with Spurs will now be played on Sunday 11 April, a day later than was provisionally scheduled, and will kick off at 16:30 BST for live broadcasting by Sky Sports.
