Martin Odegaard has hinted at a possible Arsenal stay ahead of his loan deal expiring in the summer.
The Norwegian midfielder is with the Gunners until the end of the season having joined on loan late in the January transfer window, and he is already impressing.
But in just a couple of months, he is set to return to Real Madrid ahead of next season with Los Blancos keen to see whether the midfielder can play a part next term.
That was also the same ahead of this season after he had impressed during a loan spell at Real Sociedad, but he saw limited game time under Zinedine Zidane and found himself submitting a loan request.
His wish was granted and he is now impressing again out on loan, much to Arsenal’s benefit, and once again talk of a permanent move is in the air.
Odegaard himself is helping fuel that talk with hints over what might be possible. His latest has seen him tell Real Madrid exactly what he wants if he is to return – ‘stability’.
“I said many times that I’ve been looking for stability (in same club), but haven’t found it,” he told VG.
