£30m Bakayoko deal

As reported earlier, Tiemoue Bakayoko is nearing a move to Milan after they reached an agreement with Chelsea, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Chelsea are keen to sanction a permanent sale for the player, and Sky say that the two clubs have been in negotiations for some time.

Milan will pay a €3million loan fee with a purchase option set at €30million.

Kante latest

Frank Lampard has confirmed that N’Golo Kante will not be sold by Chelsea this summer.

The 29-year-old has already been subject to a bid by Inter Milan, which has been rejected by the Blues, with the Serie A side contemplating a bigger offer.

However, the World Cup winner remains a big part of Frank Lampard’s plans for the new season.

I think pretty much every club in the world would want N’Golo Kante. I have seen those reports as well. He is an incredible player and person and I certainly don’t want to lose him. He’s fundamental in terms of what I’m trying to do.”

Cash injection

According to reports in France, Aston Villa have made on £19m offer for Lyon winger Bertrand Traore as Dean Smith bids to bolster his attacking options following the signing of Ollie Watkins.

This particular transfer would be fantastic news for the Blues as the Daily Mail have previously revealed they inserted a buy-back option in the deal which saw Traore join Lyon permanently in June 2017.

The report also states the Blues are due to receive 15 percent of any profit the French club makes on the fee should they sell him.
