‘Funds for Aouar and Partey’ – Arsenal fans come up with Hector Bellerin transfer theory

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin is the subject of interest from both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, footballsocial.online understands.

The Spaniard, who is one of the Gunners’ most longest-serving players, is weighing up what could be the best thing for his future now at the age of 25.

Bellerin, who started the FA Community Shield victory over Liverpool at Wembley on Saturday, which saw the Gunners lay their hands on the trophy after defeating Jurgen Klopp’s side 5-4 on penalties, is understood to be considering the idea of leaving the Emirates Stadium.

On Tuesday morning, footballsocial.online revealed that Bellerin was attracting interest from German giants Bayern Munich, before later revealing that PSG had increased their interest in the right-back.

It is understood that Arsenal, who completed the signing of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes for a £25million fee earlier today, could demand up to £35million for the former Barcelona defender, though they may be forced to settle for a fee closer to the region of £30million.

With PSG having now stepped up their interest in the defender, it is thought that Bellerin may well consider the prospect of sealing a move to the Ligue 1 giants, with them being desperate to land a new right-back following Thomas Meunier’s departure at the end of last season.

With fellow right-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles having impressed against Liverpool at the weekend, he could fancy his chances of establishing himself as Mikel Arteta’s first choice right-back this season, meaning Bellerin could be very tempted by a move to the French capital.

Should Bellerin seal an exit in the final few weeks of the transfer window, it could significantly bolster Arsenal’s chances of adding more players to their squad, with the club continuing to be linked with the likes of Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid, Lyon’s Houssem Aouar and Phillipe Coutinho of Barcelona.

And that is a theory that some Arsenal supporters on social media have come up with, with some suggesting that offloading Bellerin could be the Gunners’ way to bolstering their midfield options.

Here is how some Arsenal fans on Twitter have reacted to the news…
