Lampard makes Declan Rice demand, Donnarumma talks, £18m Alonso exit

The new season is now just two weeks away and Chelsea are still working away to wrap up new signings.
The Blues have already been very busy, signing the likes of Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva.
But they are not done, Frank Lampard and his recruitment staff desperate to overhaul the current crop this summer.
Lampard makes Rice demand
Lampard wants Chelsea to complete a cut-price deal for West Ham star Declan Rice.
According to The Sun, the Chelsea boss has told the club he wants Rice in ahead of the new season, feeling the England international could prove a crucial component in the midfield.
The Blues have been on a spending spree this summer, already spending £125m, and the expected arrival of Kai Havertz could push that figure over £200m.
But they may not be done there, Lampard believing Chelsea could convince West Ham to shave a chunk off their £80m valuation of their star midfielder.
Donnarumma talks commence
Chelsea are in talks over a £50m deal to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
That’s according to Football Insider, who say the Blues are keen to add a new goalkeeper ahead of the new season.
It’s become rather public knowledge that Lampard has not been impressed with Kepa Arrizabalaga, and reports now claim he is already in the market to replace the Spaniard.
It seems Donnarumma could be the man to challenge Kepa, though it’s likely Chelsea would attempt to sell the latter if they signed a new stopper given their outlay this summer.
The report claims Chelsea have held talks with Milan who want £50m for their keeper.

Sevilla eye Alonso
La Liga giants Sevilla are hoping to land Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso this summer.
According to the Express, the Europa League champions have set their sights on the left-back, who could well be available this summer after the arrival of Ben Chilwell at Stamford Bridge.
It’s reported Sevilla are willing to pay £18m for Alonso, who featured regularly last season.
Alonso has been with Chelsea since 2016 when he arrived from Fiorentina on a deal worth just over £20m.
