‘Welcome to Arsenal’ – Fans go crazy after Thomas Partey public relations officer posts tweet

Arsenal are looking to further strengthen their squad in the next few weeks of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners made their first signing of the summer last week when Willian joined the club on a free transfer after the expiry of his contract at Chelsea.
The Brazilian winger signed a three-year deal at the Emirates Stadium, but Mikel Arteta will now be looking to add further.
Defender Gabriel Magalhaes has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days, with the Gunners looking to beat off competition from Napoli and Manchester United for the Lille man.
Another prime target for Areta is Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, however, the Spanish side are insistent that the Ghanian will only leave should his £45 million release clause be met.
But a post on Twitter by the player’s public relations officer, Samuel Zigah, has some fans wondering if it is a hint to his client’s future.
He posted: “God’s plan” alongside a cross and praying hands emojis, prompting a reaction from Gunners’ fans on social media.
Partey played a total of 46 games in all competitions for Atletico Madrid this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
He was an unused substitute for the club’s last game, when they crashed out of the Champions League at the Quarter-Final stage against RB Leipzig.
Atletico are reportedly keen for Partey to sign a new contract at the club, which would see his release clause double.
