Lyon Star not Upset by PSG links

Paris Saint-Germain will likely be in the market for a right-back to replace Thomas Meunier, who departed for Borussia Dortmund in June. 

In June, Léo Dubois of Olympique Lyonnais began seeing his name linked to Les ParisiensThe 25-year-old didn’t seem upset about a potential move to Paris when asked by Le Progrès; Dubois was welcoming of the rumor.

“It didn’t upset me at all. My only goal was to prepare well,” Dubois said. “Stay long in Lyon? Everything is going well. I like the city. We’ll see, I don’t know how to answer this question, but I feel good here.”

The France international is valued at €12 million, according to TransfermarktIf the capital club does indeed pursue Dubois, that’s a reasonable price to pay for someone that will compete for the right-back position alongside Thilo Kehrer and Colin Dagba. 

Furthermore, purchasing Dubois will limit the learning curve some players go through with adapting to a new country and league. The right-back is familiar with Ligue 1 and has UEFA Champions League experience.
